Best Delta Force Operators: Tier List
As of Season 2, Delta Force has nine available Operators for players to choose from. While all Operators are viable in Warfare and Operations, all things considered, some are better than others.
This Delta Force Operator tier list takes an average of every Operator's performance in Warfare and Operations and covers their general abilities and strengths.

S-Tier Operators
S-Tier Operators: Luna and Stinger
Luna and Stinger are our S-Tier Operators, thanks to how much they excel at their specific roles and their versatility within a team.
Luna's primary ability, Detection Arrow, is an incredibly easy-to-use and powerful tool that can give coordinated teams the edge thanks to the intel it provides. On top of her reconnaissance capabilities, she can put up a good fight, too, thanks to her oppressive Volt Arrow, simple but effective Frag Grenade, and powerful Enemy Analysis trait, allowing her to track enemies she hits.
Stinger is the quintessential support character with healing and utility in abundance. His Hive-Tech pistol and improved revive make him invaluable in Warfare thanks to the number of teammates you can quickly get back in the fight. His smokescreen utility also allows him to provide vital cover for allies and offer an area of effect heal, which can be clutch in sticky situations.
A-Tier Operators
A-Tier Operators: D-Wolf, Hackclaw, and Sineva
D-Wolf, Hackclaw, and Sineva are all either remarkably powerful in one gamemode or generally 'decent' in both. However, they are definitely viable options should you enjoy the playstyle of one of these Operators.
D-Wolf is my favourite Operator thanks to the classic FPS shooter style of play he promotes with his rapid mobility and tactical slide. D-Wolf excels as a fragger and is excellent at chaining kills together thanks to his heal-on-kill when his Motorized Exoskeleton is active, making him ideal in Warfare. Additionally, his mobility in Operations allows him to rotate around the map quickly. This lets him escape dangerous situations with haste or capitalise on an out-of-position enemy.
Hackclaw is arguably one of the strongest Operators in Operations. This is thanks to her incredibly powerful Signal Decoder, which allows her to scan enemies within 60m and display their movements. Her Flash Drone and Data Knife are both aggressive tools that teams can use to start a fight, and her Silent Step trait lets her get the drop on enemies.

Sineva, the new Operator with Season 2, is a very annoying Operator to face in both Operations and Warfare. If Sineva ever catches you in a small room with his Riot Shield equipped, he can be a major bully, stunlocking you. His Grapple Gun is also versatile, allowing you to pull enemies to danger or rescue allies by grappling them to safety. Sineva can also hold down a position well with his Razor Wire Grenade, allowing you to set up traps on choke points. His Riot Shield also protects him from behind when not in use, making him a very safe pick.
B-Tier Operators
B-Tier Operators: Vyron, Toxik, Uluru, and Shepherd.
While slightly weaker than the competition, these Operators are still viable in the right hands, and one may turn out to be your favourite Operator, so don't be discouraged in giving them a try!
Vyron's primary identity is centred on his ability to knock down enemies with his Dynamic Propulsion and Crouching Tiger abilities. While this is powerful, it felt a tad clunky to use. His Magnetic Bomb is powerful when it works but requires some planning to be effective. His Dynamic Auxillary System can be helpful, but it feels rather niche. Compared to his Assault competition, D-Wolf, Vyron is not as 'in your face' and doesn't have the utility to make up for it.
Toxik is not necessarily weak. However, because she is simply a weaker Stinger, there is not much reason to choose her in Operations or Warfare. While her Dragonfly Swarm System can be a powerful tool in a skirmish, and her Adreno-Boost and Swift Healing can aid her allies, all her abilities are far too team-dependent compared to some of the self-reliance that Stinger has available.
Uluru is a classic 'hunker down' Operator. This can make him quite potent in Warfare for holding or breaching a chokepoint, but there are more effective protective tools, such as Sineva's Riot Shield, or more delicate breach options like Hackclaw's Data Knife. Uluru's Battle Hardened passive trait is strong but felt quite underwhelming compared to some other Operator's traits, making him a solid but uninspiring Operator.
Shepherd is perhaps the most niche Operator in Delta Force. This Operator excels at denying areas on the map, making him amazing in certain Warfare gamemodes. His Sonic Traps and Sonic Paralysis can help him stage an unbreakable defence; however, Shepherd doesn't have much to offer outside of holding an area. His kit is very situational and doesn't have as much versatility as the recon of Luna, the healing of Stinger, or the movement of D-Wolf.
